Print Sales
Some of my photographs are available
to order as high resolution archival prints for framing.
My prints are made on the very
latest technology professional 8 ink pigment Inkjet printer.
I only use the printer
manufacturer’s original ink and best photo paper,
which have a high colour gamut, are
waterproof and have been tested to give fade-resistance up to *200 years plus!
* Testing by Wilhelm Imaging
Research.
Size & Price
The largest prints are centred on
13x19 inch sheets of 300g Professional Satin Photo Paper.
All prints have a white border which
varies in size depending on the aspect-ratio of the original image crop.
For example most of my wildlife
shots are cropped to near a 4:3 aspect ratio and the printed area is usually
about 16x12 inches.
The border is advantageous in
allowing for overlap when matting/framing the print.
Cost is £35 per single print,
Or £65 for 2 prints in one tube.

Posting
Your Print will be carefully rolled
in acid-free tissue paper
and then posted to you 1st Class in
a rigid 3 inch diameter cardboard postal tube.
Prints are made to order and it
takes 1-2 days drying time before they are ready for dispatch.
Print Handling
Prior to framing your new print,
please remove from the postage tube by gently pulling the overlapping
tissue paper rather than the print
itself. Avoid touching the printed surface.
For best results, leave the print on a clean
flat surface weighted down with some heavy books or similar (see below).
Make sure you place some soft white paper (the
tissue paper the print was packed in will do nicely)
between the books and the printed
surface, and be very careful not to scratch the printed surface.
Leave for at least 24 hours so that the print
has time to relax and loose the worst of It’s curl.
The print will then be ready for matting,
which itself will hold the print flat ready for display in the frame.
